Cookie is extremely passionate about raising powerline safety awareness not only within Queensland and Australia, but has recently presented in the USA on powerline safety.

Working as an electrician for over 30 years within the construction and utilities industries, he has been a first responder to serious injury/burns and fatalities due to third party accidental contact with powerlines. He has developed a strong belief in the importance of educating the broader community to the dangers of accidental contact with overhead and underground powerlines.
